The GCA offers weekly paddling activities:

Paddling Trips. The GCA schedules paddling trips every Saturday and Sunday, throughout the year. Most are one-day paddling trips on rivers 1-3 hours driving time from Atlanta. Rivers frequently paddled on GCA trips include:

The GCA also offers smooth water trips, primarily in Florida and south Georgia. Many of these are canoe camping trips.

GCA paddling trips are open to GCA members and their guests.

Roll Practice. Canoe and kayak roll practice is held throughout most of the year, using an indoor pool in winter and Stone Mountain Lake in spring, summer and early fall.
